I am going to look at a 74 Satellite this weekend, and i have never seen one optioned this way. It has a Slant 6, auto, power windows, dealer A/C, and not much else. I have never heard of a slant in a 74 b-body. Does anybody have any production numbers for this. Has anybody else heard of this, or had one?

No idea production numbers but ma Mopar have the slant available in just about everything they built from about 63/64 thru about 1980.

Yeah. they slammed um in everything. I'm surprised we never saw a slant option for the Colt. lol

i have seen slants in some pretty interesting cars like a 83 (i think it was) town and country wagon, a woodie.... or an 80 magum.

A 225 could be had in "C" bodies ... talk about a power house !

Actually , a 225-powered "B" Body isn't bad at all . A friend used to have a '69 Coronet 2 door coupe with a 225 / column-shift 3 speed manual ; that thing had lots of low-end and would pull like a mother !

Any particulars on the '74 Satellite ?
Is it a (former) taxi ? A base 2 door ? A stripped 4 door sedan ?

It is a 2dr HT but it isn't a stripped down model. It is /6 auto, power windows, shoebox dash, power steering and brakes, and basic interior.
