Slant six pulled

The slant six and auto tranny have been pulled from the Scamp. Most of the interior has been removed at this point also. I have the title in my name now, so I'm ready to get to work on it.

I just did that myself. Go get'em! Find this stuff called Gease off and spray down your engine bay walls, use a brass wire brush for a lite scrubbing action and rinse with water. Your eyes will freak out. Works great.

It's funny how taking them apart is the quick and easy part, it's the putting it all back togeather.....our 72 scamp is almost there.

Pulling the old slant is easy, I did mine about 3 months ago.

Putting in the new engine and hooking up everything without scratching the new paint !

Thats a challenge !

Wish mine looked that good! As you can see, we've got a long way to go. It feels good to get started, though.
