Just in case it wasn't mentioned (I may have missed it).....If the original 904 is kept, you'll have to get a converter snout adapter because the older snouts are smaller than the the back of newer cranks ('67+). You'll also be limited to the converters you can use because the splines are different in the trans, unless you modify the existing one after solving the snout issue.
