today, we do heads. I have been going through the heads I have that I don't need. Here is a bare set of heads that I believe by the number are 360. The number on them as seen in the picture is # 3418915. I will tell you all I know about these heads. I have a buddy I served with during Vietnam that had a machine shop. He had a stroke a couple of years ago and unlike me he never came back from it. He couldn't do the work anymore and he hired a guy to help him and found the guy was stealing from him so he decided to shut the shop down. He is friends with Herb Mc Candless. apparently he raced with him back in the day. He took these heads in to build them for a customer. After he decided to shut the shop down, he tried to contact the guy to come pick them up and the contact info was bogus. It took 6 months to shut the shop down. the guy never contacted Glenn and he couldnt get in touch with him. I helped him move the machines out on the last day and he knew I was a Mopar guy and most of his business was Chevy so he asked me if I had any use for them. I bought them from him and I put them on the shelf down in the shed. I just brought them out, cleaned them up and sprayed a little paint on them. Since I have never seen these heads on an engine, I cannot make no guarantee on them. BUT, I cannot believe that Glenn would have gotten this far with them if they were bad. So that is the story on these. I do not need them. I have a set of x heads I am putting on the Dart Sport. I am asking $150.00 for the set plus the ride. this is because of the cost of shipping not knowing where the buyer will be. shipping will be actual cost.

I did some checking on these heads and the seats on these were ground to 340 specs. They are set up for the 2.02 valves. It talked about these in the Mopar book I have. said something about the old valves 3690230. I thought it took the bigger valves when I looked at it. when I ran the number, it showed a 360 head but that head had the 1.88 valves. so I guess these are essentially a 340 head.

Those exhaust ports look huge. the 915 head was 70-72 340 or 360 head. could have either valve size. even the T/A started as a 915 head. 915 MAY have hardened valve seats but not sure. Good head none the less (X,J,O,U..even Z? they all flowed the same anyway)

The numbers match a 71-72 360 Head. I wish I had an extra $50 to add to what I have stashed away to get these. I think they would work great on my 318 build.

if you can come up with the $150. for the heads, I will hold them until you can get the shipping costs. I am doing that for a couple of guys right now. let me know. Bill

those of you who have PM'd me on these heads and are pissing around buying them are going to lose them. they are going to sell on ebay tonight. I would have liked to see them go to someone on FABO along with some of the other parts I have for sale. I need to move these parts to finish my sons Dart Sport.

If you can give me a call I will probably take them. I am located in Pa zip is 17356. Can you get an idea what Shipping would be. Pm sent

Thank you

Rodney Hake
