Looking for a nice Air Gap intake to port and do some flow testing on. Not looking for one that Uncle Joe took an air grinder to the mounting bolt holes and made it look like Swiss cheese. Not looking for one that had the intake face cut, and I’m not looking for some high dollar piece that for 75.00 more I could get a new one for from Summit with free shipping. Thanks.

If you end up ordering a new one from anywhere be sure to look at bolt hole number 3 from the front on the passenger side before you un-package it. I made a post a few weeks ago here WRT problems I was seeing with what appeared to be a die grinder used on that bolt hole on two different brand new intakes I got from Summit. The third one Summit had Edelbrock ship directly from Comp Cams in MO and it had the bolt hole machined down below grade as well. Shipped it back today. Even had Oreilly's get a couple to see if they had better luck but no dice. Both had that one hole recessed below grade by machining. 5 out of 5 ain't no accident.

Now Summit folks have been nothing but very helpful in trying to get it right. I'm sure they don't have time to open and verify the condition of all the parts they stock. I am definitely pleased with their customer service. It's been absolutely no hassle whatsoever in getting postage paid RA slips.

Good luck, it seems the 7576 intakes aren't up for sale very often, at least I haven't noticed very many. When you get one and run the flow numbers, be interesting to see the outcome. :usflag:

Maybe enough SB mopar folks have complained about it and they finally fixed the issue. I suspicion it may be a casting flaw issue they may be trying to get out but I have been wrong before, hard to say. However, none of the recessed holes were the same depth on any of them. Some were cut down to a little under 1/8" deep and some ~ 1/16" and close to 3/4" dia. Hope you get a nice one without the extra cutting/grinding. Good luck. Let us know what you get.

I got tired of all the waiting/shipping back, waiting/shipping back. I even sent pics of the issues to Edelbrocks Chief Warranty Supervisor. I finally just bought a used one here from another FABO member last week. He had pics of his intake and that bolt hole had not been touched by a grinder or mill bit.

Not sure about sale price, however the 7576 intakes are available, just at $450-500. Ouch...
