I'll answer for Dave, since I have the near exact version only by Holley, and he's not on line now. Mine has an open bottom and clovered carb pad.
YES!
The Holley intake was also cast for MoPar but only with a MoPar logo and part number. This intake was in the direct connection/MoPar Performance catolog for a long time until superseded by there own intake and of course, touted as 10 HP better. It was also taller.
The intake is water heated for street useage, hence the "Street" designation. (SP!)
This intake should be very capable of helping you "Paste" the competiton and do it well.
