After owning this used set of American torque thrust T 70 r for a couple of years. I finally found a person out of San Jose, California to restore them to go onto 66 Plymouth barracuda. Over the years, I have only seen one other set. I purchased them around June 2020

very , very cool and rare . do you have the centers , lug nuts and washers ? They are hard to find. I have a set of T70's , no rib .
 
The rims have been drilled for a larger out diameter lug nut for a 7/16-20 thread. One rim was not drilled. So new lug nuts with conical washers. Can you post any photos of your rims on a ride? Thanks
 
Well, the wheel sure does look great.
Where did you find your center caps? Do you have a part number for them?
What car do you have have them on?

All the acessories were hard to find. The center caps were NOS from ebay , no part numbers . I believe there are 2 sizes , 2-1/8 and 2-5/8 . They attach with a screw in the center thru a special cone shaped retainer that fits the inside of the wheel . These retainers appear to be made for the larger wheels that were then crushed to fit the small wheels . They will not fit the front wheels because of hitting the dust cap . I made a star shaped retainer out of sheet metal for the front . New decals are available in the smaller size. The 5/8 shank lug nuts and (hard to find) small diameter thick washers I found at Lug nut king . Not a lot of room around the lug nuts for a socket but a thin 12 point socket will work . They are mounted on a 1964 Barracuda with 205/70 14 tires.
 
Looks like your wheels are scraping your brake lines
 
T70Rs are my favorite wheel of all time, very very rare 70s originals, and the 2000 Era repops. It's such a shame they only made the repops for a short time. By the time I found they were making them again....they werent.
Well, I suppose that's one way to make sure they stay rare.
 
Well it’s been a long time thought I’d give you an update I pick up the rims tomorrow photos soon
 
America’s tire is helping me by putting on three different sizes of tires so I can figure out what will fit on the barracuda.
Tire sizes are 225/60r14,225/70r14 and 236/60 r14.

I would have to dig through my notes. Of the top of my head, depending on wheel offset, the front end height and t-bar size, 225/60-14 may be OK, and 225/70 will occasionally contact at the front fenders - turning under compression. Also check rim width against BFG's recommended widths for the tire sizes.
For my Barracuda - which sits lower than factory but with larger t-bars - 215/70-14 has been an excellent for street abuse. it provides enough hieght and sidewall to protect the rims and clear the worst streets and even non-paved roads. At the track of course wider would be better but these do OK.
 
Well, thank you for your help. It turned out my eyes were larger than what the car could handle had to change to a 215/60r14
