As long as it only refers to the M & P I am probably ok I have a 622 and a couple of 3913s

yea the 622 and 3913's dont have the passive trigger as i recall, those are the 1911 clones right (with S&W flair)

The 622 is a 22lr target pistol. If I remember correctly, the barrel is lower than normal.
The 3913 is the Lady Smith with out the engraving. Excellent handgun. 9mm. I bought these for my daughters
 
Thanks for the post. My .40 checks out fine. I think you would also have to have the safety off for it to fire on a drop. The safety locks the stryker fire device out. Dan
