Started to snow Saturday night and has not stopped yet.
Shoveled my driveway this morning about 15 inches deep.
Every winter for years now, deer have been taking refuge
under my blue spruce, figure these are most likely the
fourth or fifth generation off spring of the original three that
started living in my yard many years ago during a very harsh winter.
I Forgot to put my lawn mower away last week, keep in mind I could see the grass
3 days ago. You can tell by looking where the deer are
under the tree where there is minimal snow still. Cheers.

Great!

I saw a deer walk by in the street in front of my house two days ago and when I got my camera and came back, it was gone....

Young adult with new spurs for a rack....

Pictures from top of a mountain from a few years ago.
Time passes slowly here and not much changes , just
the depth of the snow LOL.

You are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful place.Definately not for wimps or wusses. Breathe deep and enjoy,Kevin.

the guy said as he slid off the snowy mountain " pretty is as pretty does!" LOL
you are right, I was raised in the deep south, been in Missouri since 79, yes a cold weather snow retarded WUSS!!! LOL I admit it.
I've been across the Rockies and Sierra Nevadas, BUT in summer!!!!!!
yes it is beautiful there guys, course a 12 in snow here is pretty till i'm stuck in it or froze trying to chore!??? LOL

No disrespect intended. Just pretty sure it takes a special person to live there and those views most people can only imagine,Kevin.

I live on the Prairies we get lots of snow here every year. You get used to 4 seperate distinct seasons. Not sure i could leave despite the cold..
