Interesting car, but, holy crap, they need to fire their advertising director because this video is terrible

The new General Electric.

550 HP twin turbo and all wheel drive?? That thing will move out lickety split
Yeah and an inline six, too. But don't worry all the V8 guys can get the electric version which comes with a V8 sound system on the exterior. lol

Steve magnante said as such 6 months ago in a YouTube video talking to uncle tony. They are good friends.

Well they had to offer a 2 door version since the Challenger was killed off.
I'll wait until I can actually see one up close before I decide if I like it or not. Never cared for the 4 door Charger, no matter how much they tried to make it look better.

But hey, at least it weighs significantly MORE than the current 2023 Chargers and Challengers!

Maybe they'll start quoting the weight in kilograms to confuse and obfuscate.

Ya, the Hemi's in the last models were good engines. Did you ever own one?
As far as the 5.7 Hemi engines themselves, I owned since new a 2013 Ram 1500 with the 5.7. Sold it in 2017…

And currently have since new a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7. They were powerful for their size. Always had the hemi tick though. The Jeep was faster than the truck.

Would love to put one in my ‘68 barracuda, or dart, or w200. Lol

I don’t have a real need for a modern car, I live on a ranch. We have trucks or suvs only out here. :) The typical 4 door or 2 door car won’t work out here. Lol

I partnered with a customer if mine with a wrecked SRT8. It was a 6.1 6 speed car with headers and a chip. It was a fun one. I got to ride in a Demon a few times. What a rocket ship.

The two door looks slick.
Good thing I am old, retired poor, and we damn sure don't need friggin all wheel drive re in S E Texas! Not eve soccer moms!

I'm sure somebody is already shoving a Hellcat in a prototype somewhere.

I think Dodge is playing it smart. Build both an electric and an ice version of the same car, then when the mandates hit, everything is ready to either go with the flow, or slap the government in the face with the facts about consumer demand for ev's.

It's all about perspective
I used to refer to mine as a modern dodge Monaco, and if you look at it like that is a pretty good car

I have one in my 2500, and I'm not terribly impressed with it

Now, I got one in my wife's charger as well and holy cow, that thing scoots

Too bad the Hurricanes are junk and kicking rods in wagoneers at incredibly low miles.

When I was getting my driveshaft replaced under warranty, there was one in there with 1700 miles on it. Complete engine failure. My buddies cousin who is my LX specialist, said Stellantis was having him dissect, determine, and document the failure for research purposes.

Dodge Monaco... now there's a car name they should have brought back, at least for the fleet models

Well I think the new Charger is a damn good looking car.

Friend of mine, who bought a 66 Belvedere Hemi 4-speed brand new (and still has it) bought a Tesla last year. Draw your own conclusions. . . .
