soft pedal

Hey Guys:after turning the rotors, replacing the calipers and hoses , both drums with wheel cylinders and master cylinder, I still have a soft pedal. Do I have unreasonable expectations of a ferm pedal? If anybody has any thoughts on this please post. :wack:

I'd check the master possibly leaking, either out or internally. I used to plug the ports and hold the pedal to see if it goes down. Thus eliminating the other possibilities.

put a few miles on it and then readjust the rears, the radius of the shoe never matches the dia. of the drum, it takes a little wear to get the rest of the pedal to firm up.
