I managed to get some time on the Demon this weekend. I fitted all of the exhaust. I just have to take it back off and weld it now. I think I found some rubber hangers that will work for the exhaust tips with some minor modifications. I got the tranny all buttoned up and the shifter mounted. Still have to adjust the shifter cable though. I got the drivers seat mounted in its preliminary position but I think I will lower the brackets I fabbed just a little to make it easier to get in and out. I started the car up and it now moves under it's own power. That is a great feeling. I am hoping to finish the left quarter this weekend and it is off to the body shop.

Congrats on the progress Jack. But I must admit, you have a lot more patience that me. I would have had to take that sucker out and given it a least one good blast just to get the spiders out of the pipes. :)

It's not patience, it's not wanting to go through the hassles with the wife after she gets all of the complaints. She already has heard from the neighbors about that loud car in the area. They still havn't figured out it is me. They think it is the guy next door who builds 4X4's. Also, it is a long way from my garage to any pavement. Out of the garage, through the woods, across the lawn and then out the long driveway. I managed to build my garage without a permit that way. LOL
