Did the spare go face up or face down in the trunks spare tire well from the factory?

The inside of the spare wheel faces up. That way you have room to stash the jack baseplate within the wheel rim.

Plus, it makes it a whole lot easier to check the tire pressure.......Oh, wait a minute.....you're saying to install the wheel with the inside facing up? I always do it the other way unless it won't fit for some reason.
