speedo gauge ?

I have a set of white face gauge covers for a 68 barracuda that I want to install. However my original speedo only goes to 120mph, and the white cover goes to 150mph. What do I have to do to make my gauge accurate?

You'll have to have it recallibrated by a shop that does that type of work. I have an article in one of my magazines about a place that does it but I'll have to dig it out. Depending on where you live you might be able to find somebody locally to do it.

Or you could change the speedo gear for the transmission to "fool" the speedometer. The math shouldn't be too hard...........

Here's a link to a 150 mph speedo for a '68 Barracuda. I just saw it on ebay. It has a buy it now price, but it's kinda pricey.
