I really think they sold me the wrong ratio cable like I mentioned before..

Ok the first time you said that, I let it slide, cuz I thought you were being sarcastic,lol.
But now I'm wondering if you are serious?
If you are, then, the cable itself cannot affect the drive ratio, it's just a sleeve with a drive cable running up the center ... exactly like a string-trimmer. The only job of the cable is to transmit the spinning motion of the speedo gear to the speedo head, that's all.
But if you are kidding then you got me, lol
