Hey everyone I’ve been having a super leaky speedo gear on my a904. I replaced the seals twice already(with o rings from Amazon) and it still leaks. I even replaced the housing assembly entirely to no avail. Does anyone know of any high quality o rings or any other method to stop the leaks? It’s super annoying to leave the car parked for a handful of hours and come back to a big stain on the floor. Thanks in advance

Install it without the outer large o-ring and turn it until you just feel pressure after meshing the gear. If your putting to much pressure on the gear due to using the wrong slot. It will bind and drip. Just something to check

I’ll try it out as well, maybe it’s too tight

O-ring around the housing.
a seal goes inside the housing for the gear to ride on. If you put an o-ring inside the housing it won't seal

I leave the original o-ring and just push the orange seal inside.
Adds a little extra support and it will ride on a different part of the speedo gear shaft, whether that is needed or not don't know, but it doesn't hurt.

I’ll definitely order it and reply with results thanks everyone

Put grease on the spring before installing.
An old timer told me to do this years ago with any seal with a spring.
I couldn't tell you why, not sure if I ever asked.
