speedometer cable question ??

need to know the correct length the speedometer is on a 69 cuda with a 904 auto ? I have one that is 56" long and another that Is 81", neither cable was installed in my car when I got it, on the 56" cable the plastic end that would hook it to the back of the speedometer gauge in the dash is broken can you get just that end or do it need to get an whole new cable??

I think correct length is 63 inches. I don't know if that end can be repaired or replaced, never tried.

You can get one of those at a wrecking yard and gorilla glue it to your cable.
Iv'e done it on a couple of different cars, and was surprised how they were used on a ton of American cars (Same part)

I ziptied the last one I did after I used the glue.
