Speedometer Sender thread size

Hello,

Does anyone know the thread size on speedometer Sender? For a 73 Plymouth scamp. I have the shop manual downloaded but can't find any references. I need to install a electric speedometer sending unit for my new speedometer gauge.

After further research I have confirmed that the thread size on the transmission for the speedometer cable is 7/8-18. FYI eBay has speedometer Sender/adapters for use with after market electronic gauges running around $30
