Split bench with arm rest

Got a couple questions…
Did a-body split bench with arm rest have the plastic covers on the seat backs or was that b-body only? I was under the impression that a-bodies didn’t have the plastic cover and b bodies did. I have a chance to buy a seat, it was taken out of a b-body but it was not the original seat.

The rear plastic cover stopped on High Back bucket seats for 1973 and up cars: A, B, E-bodies.

I don't think that high back bucket style bench with armrest seat was available in A-bodies from 1970 to 1972. Check The 1970 Hamtramck Registry Library Page (1970 - 1974) in the trim selector guides to verify.

This may have came off a 4-door car too.

Beyond all that. Will a B-body bench fit in your A-body? Width wise. The width between the bolt pattern may be wider too.

He’s correct. A body. 73 on up

Yes, A-Body 73-up and 2-door as the seat backs fold forward. It will work on any year A-Body 67-76...
