Spun dampener

I am racking my head and I can't remember the starter being on the opposite side on a reversed engine.

I have seen starters mounted in from the trans side on marine,, was really old,, and I can't remember the application.. Anythings possible with some of the old marine conversions..

Some drive off the front of the crank.. go figure..

67, Yes it did have the thrust bearing under the dist. I guess what is really throwing me off is the oil pump drive gear meshing wit the lunati cam and the timing chain.
