Looked at Summit and Mancini for SS springs for my '65 Dart. Summit lists a 2800 lbs spring and Mancini has a 2800 and 3000-3200 Spring. 390 HP 360,904/9 1/2 converter and 41.0 rear and a drag radial 245.

The listed lbs. of the spring is for car weight.

Right. Posted weights range from 2850 to 3075 lbs. for the 273. Err on the light side or heavier side? Street strip car.

I have the stiffer springs in my Cuda and like them. Need to watch the ride height. 65'

2800 LB work great on early and late cars, IMO

Errr on the heavier side unless the future holds a diet for the car.

2800 rides too low for the '65 Dart?

My dart is a '67. I put the 3200# springs on my car at first ( street car ). Rode like a buggy. I took those off and put the 2800 # springs on and the ride was much better.

Edit. Mine are the MPP P4510268 & P4510269 XHD OEM-Style, A-Body, 2,800 lbs.

Even with the 2800# springs it still sat higher than stock. I bought new front spring hangers that have 2 sets of holes in them so you can drop the car 1" and it still isn't down to stock ride height, but does sit about right for me.

You could try slider in the rear as well. That will drop it down some more.

That is a one nice dart. I may try the sliders.

I would have liked it to sit a little lower than that. But it isn't bad for 28" tires on the back. I didn't want to run blocks.

To be honest though, I would never run SS springs again and they aren't necessary anyhow.

This is my current car with factory replacement springs. I raised the front eye, nothing more, and it has 28"s on it as well.

That is a nice ride as well. The wheel offset on the rear is awesome. What brand factory replacement springs did you use?
