:colors: dear gents. i do have a 69 fastback. my current front and rear windshild is installed without the stainless bezzels. no i would like to know if it is possible to install the trim when the windshild is in or do i have to remove it first to place the trim in the rubber and then stick it back into the frame ? pls let me know the best way forward. many thanks martin from Austria

Both the windshield and back glass has clips around the pinch weld where the stainless trim attaches. The trim goes between the rubber and the body where the clips are located.

Before install the trim you want to make sure there is no leaks by running water slowly around the perimeter of the windshield and back glass. If there are some leaks you can seal the rubber between the rubber and glass with 418 urethane. Then run a some bed glazing around the perimeter where the clips are located BEFORE you install the trim. Smooth it out with your finger (gloves are needed).

The pics show what it should look like before trim installation. It has not been sealed yet with urethane or bed glazing.
