Star Wheel adjuster and Lever Position?!?

I put back together, its just that the lever is not in the correct position to engage the starwheel. I know about the left handed and right handed threads, I think I have that correct. The lever is up way too high its more like almost above the star wheel. Please help, thanks

Here's some pictures of 10x2.5 rear brakes that should help; first picture is passenger side and second is the driver's side.

As I stared at the first time, it looked as though the cable loop piece is out of whack. You pictures kinda confirm that. I looked at mine and couldn't quite tell.

To the OP try turning the piece the cable routes around in a clockwise direction so it will, in effect, make the cable longer allowing the adjuster to move down some.

It looks as though they are assembled correctly.

I didn't even catch the part hooked to the adjuster. That needs changed too.
