Hey guys, what years and engines could you use the mini starters from for the early small blocks?

I think all years for slants, LA, BB, RB, and Magnum V-8 engines. Might be issues in 1961-62 or with poly-318 "A" engines. Otherwise, 1963 to 2000 should work. I think some models had the solenoid clocked different, so if you have custom headers or such, no guarantees.

I think some early mini starters have a ramp shaped casting near the nose gear.

They won't seat unless you grind that off.

I used a power master indexable starter with my 340 and Dougs headers in my 65 Dart
