startin problems

i have a 72 duster with a 383 in it. everything works.but the engine won't turn over from the steering column.the starter isn't clickin at all. get nothin at all. what could possibly be wrong?

Netural safety switch on transmission or loose bulk head connector.

Yep, I would say something to do with Netural safety switch, column shefter out of adjustment, sometimes you can hold it up in park & it may start or it may be Netural safety switch its self...........or look over me if I'm wrong, but a think a loose or bad fusible link would also make it do nothing.

or a starter relay, I had one of them to stick befour, that did not even click!

i had a bad coil. replace the coil it fired right up.
