OK, silly question I'm sure, but if I don't ask I might break something, and that would ruin my day.

How do I get to the light bulb behind the gear selector on the steering column? Does that black plastic piece pop out or do I need to remove the two screws? I tried turing the screws and they are stuck like someone used locktite on them.

I took the photo with my cell phone just to see what is back there. Thanks.

Figured it out. I used an angled phillips screw driver that gave me enough power and bite to loosen those two screws. They are fine-threaded machine screws. Light assembly slides out easily. That was the last incandescent bulb I needed to replace. Now all bulbs except headlights are LEDs from superbrightleds.com. Dash lights look fantastic. Electronic flashers for turn signals and hazard work well. Today I'm installing an ammeter bypass and CrackedBack's headlight relay kit. Great upgrades all.
