Steering Column Coupler

Picture is for reference only and not my car... Is the coupler supposed to go all the way passed the second spline before putting in the roll pin. I have really forced my coupler on with probably too much persuasion and it just about covers the second spline. This particular picture almost shows it not covering the second spline but kind of hard to tell as it is not very clear.

Look through the hole where the roll pin goes through. It should be lined up with the groove in between the two sets of splines.

Thank you! It looked like there was an another grove after the second spline for the roll pin. I guess I just kept trying to go

Make sure you are on the master spline.
