Steering column modification

Hello fellow Moparians. I couple years back I remember a post showing how to modify a steering column with shifter to one without. I don't seem to be able to find it now that I am ready to do mine. They cut the offending pieces off and filled with epoxy (or something else), sanded and polished, then painted. It looked great! How do I find it again?
