Steering column wiring.

I have a yellow wire with a banana plug at the bottom of the column that runs to a light with what looks like a fiber optic cable that shines on the ignition switch at the top of the column. Does anyone know where this yellow wire gets plugged in?

Does the car has courtesy lighting timer ? If the column and car dont exactly belong together you may not have a place to plug that in

What year is the car??

Reason I ask is because Im rebuilding a 71 column now and I have a single yellow wire, I just want to make sure I dont give you bad info.

It's a 1970 Duster. Original column. I live in Cottage Grove also.
