Ok I have an early A 64 dart. I need some help on how best to go about getting the power steering pump mounted.
I have a 340 stroker with the late style water pump, and of course I screwed up and had the stock pump rebuilt, brackets even powder coated. But it will not mount since the brackets I think used to mount to the water pump.
So do I need the later style 70 ish power steering pump and brackets? Also what type of pump, Federal, or Saginaw? If so were can I get the brackets and will the pump pressure hose use the same fitting I am running now?
On a side note I guess this pump that was rebuilt by firm feel is for sale.
along with the powder coated brackets too.
