I have a 68 Dart, and the horn contact that slides on the little copper ring as the wheel turns is shot. This is a plate with a spring-loaded finger that reaches down to contact the ring. It had a wheel on the end of it. It does not any longer. Any ideas on where to find one would be appreciated.

Thanks.
Bill

This has the item in it--just below the upper arrow on the right hand side is the "finger" (cylindrical, spring-loaded rod) with a roller on the top. This runs against the copper ring which is attached to the wheel itself. Finger is attached to the plastic plate, and has a wire that goes down the harness to the horn relay, grounding it and activating the horn.

...and in describing this, the brain cells finally engage....this finger is part of the turn signal switch assembly. And that's where I get the part...$90 at rock auto.

Ouch.

Thanks for the help with this.
