Hi guys and gals, I've got most of my 70 Dart Swinger torn apart for blasting and body work. This morning I got out the heater box assembly. and the dash bezel assembly off. Have been very careful so far and nothing broke, but having problems taking two white connections or plugs apart that are attached to the steering column and the dash wiring harness. How do you take these apart without snapping anything off. I know some of these get brittle from time to time but is there an easier way and how can I do it. Need advise..........

There is a keeper tab on one side that you need to use either a flathead screw driver or your fingernail to pry up so you can seperate them.
Don't worry about screwing up the one that comes down from the column, you will get a new shiney one when you buy a new ignition switch.

Mine are brittle too. I'll just replace them with Molex connectors if I have further problems.

a shot of WD40 lubricates but doesn't hurt anything.
