Stevens or Stephens Mopar Auto Parts

-
CTC Auto Ranch in Tx was the same and closet Mopar guys.....they just crushed lots of complete cars for about $450-$500 crush price but still wanted top dollar....many offered more than $600 and they wouldn't take it. They are supposed to have an action later of the primo? stuff.

Life in general and old classic car hobbies... get tougher each day.

Good bumpers are not cheap and cheap bumpers usually are not that good!

Ted is still in business since the what? 80s? Must know something and be doing something right.

I get $550 from my scrap guy for complete cars
Will take a hood or fender some lights ect
As long as it has the engine trans wheels battery and cat
Ill toss some just in it just for weight
The only thing is they take 2 at a time

Look on Craigslist for Mopar parts in Crossville, TN. There is a guy named Matt who has a lot of stuff there. He usually goes to the Music City Mopar Club's show in Nashville, so maybe you can meet him there. @badlilred79 also lives in Crossville and has a lot of Duster stuff.

I've known Ted & Jackie Stephens for almost 40 years. Ted has always been fair with me, both buying things from him or selling him something at a swap meet. I buy ALL of my AMD sheet metal from Ted. He has invested a lot of money and time in our hobby, and we have all benefited from that. A HUGE amount of reproduction parts for our cars have been brought to market because of Ted's involvement and he is a busy man. His employees handle all of the sales and shipping, so they are busy people too. I can see how searching for a list of parts for several weeks and then getting told forget it would tick someone off.
Couldn't find 9" drums for my 65 Barracuda years ago, I had to heat & beat the old ones off. I called Stephens' & the price was outrageously high & no guarantee that they were any good either. So I kept searching. PepBoys would order for me prepaid & no returns if the wrong part, & caused me to never buy a part from them, ever.
Finally found new ones. Don't remember where(NAPA for rest of parts), or price, and then I had hell of a time finding a shop with a brake lathe to true then up, & O'Reillys of all places had one. One was way out & had to buy another one. Didn't know about K-H option, because I might've spent about the same money to upgrade.
Never called Stephens' again & won't!

Been looking for 12 years for drums for the 50 dodge only option is to have them sleeved at 400 each......

Some people cater to the big guys, some cater to everyone. Some learn to watch out for getting screwed, either and/or coming/

I sold a pair of BB heads to a guy decades ago. I had already learned to mark them with a center punch. The guy picks them up, and about 4-5 days later tell me they have a crack, want me to send him a refund. I said a refund is no problem., but you will return them to me. He gets all pissy and says "hey they are scrape! why should I waste my time and gas!?" I simply told him I will verify that those are the heads I sold him and then he gets his $$ back. Never heard back.
