Dumb question time. I have a set off a 273 that I won't need, would they work on your 360?

Thanks for the plug Demonracer. I have reached out to 440BelII in the past on this.

The 273 caps will not work for a 360 given the 273’s smaller journal diameter (2.5” versus the 360’s 2.81) and wider bolt spacing.

Can you just bolt on a non matched set of caps? I think you might need to plane and bore in which case finding another block may be cheaper.

It looks like we are 4.5 hrs apart, but I have a 1978 360 block and rotating assembly with KB pistons you can have for $100 if you want it.

Thanks for the reply. Like Rocket said, the 360 caps would have a larger journal diameter and wider spacing. If you have a set , I'm interested in them.
