Hello. I am almost to the point of getting my Dakota race truck running. I am to wiring up the mopar Distributor now. I am using Digital HP ingtion box made by Pertronix. I am using the magnetic pick up wires, that have green and purple wires. The problem I am having is the mopar Distributor wires are soposed to black and orange. Which black is - and the orange wire is +
The little problem I am having is on my Distributor the wires are orange/ black stripe and Blue/Black stripe.I was just going to hook it up like I have found other mopar Dist hooked up. But on them the orange wire connects to the male terminal and the black to the female. On my Distributor they are backwards. Which doesn't really cause a problem, because I am going to cut the end off to hook up the MSD stile connector to work with the pertronix ingtion box. Here is a pic of my Distributor and one of how a msd etc hook up to a stock mopar Dist.
