I would like to run braided stainless line with AN fittings from my stock 360 fuel pump to the carb. Problem is I cant find a fitting for the 1/2-20 outlet of the fuel pump to change it to AN. Have any of you guys ever done this or converted to something else?

Actually I'm pretty sure that some of the specialty outfits make that adapter. It is properly called out by the tube size, not thread size.

If it's originally 5/16 steel tube, it's properly called "5/16 (or no5) inverted flare"

(The AN / JIC ? hose/ fitting numbering system is based on 16's of an inch)

A very quick Gargoole found this, 5/16 inverted no #6. You do have to be careful to stay with AN or JIC, and NOT "SAE" flare
