Stock linkage with B&M shifter

This is something i have thought about over the years but never saw anyone do.
Has anyone tried using the stock shifterlinkage from a floorshifted automatic and made it work with a B&M or other aftermarket shifter?
What makes me think of it is that i realy like the Quicksilver shifters but hate the shiftcable.

That is intresting,but isnt the stock linkagehole in the floor further back? I might be thinking alitle backwards.

FYI I've never had a problem with the cable. And very simple to install.

Seen plenty of them creating isues,most due to the installer.
but much easier to install with the stock linkage,no extra holes,no cablerouting noting extra. I just like the idea if it can be made to work geometricly.

Must be why I never had problems because I was always the installer..
