Stock sway bar question

I have a '67 383 formula S, with the factory sway bar. I have new end link and factory bracket bushings ready to go. My question is (and I did check older posts) Does the CENTER bend in the BAR go "up" or "down"? The factory brackets must be re-welded closed once they're on the bar. That negates the ability to swap them if they're on the incorrect sides. Thanks in advance!

I know on a 69 and 70 they go up. But welding? They slip off the ends with plenty of Slick Stuff. Take that back; 69 Charger, 70 Duster. To check, hold it up there, arms should be parallel with lca. Now check the brackets, bolt holes are angled, to the kmember.
