but there's always less "extra" parts......and when you scatter one to the frame they take up less room.

I hear that, I have many boxes of used and slightly use stuff from changing my mind. lol When I put my flh together I probably spent $200 on stainless hardware.I update my WG - just a few "little" things.. I have a milk crate full of extra stuff.. and that's just the "small" parts! LOL
Last week , he told me, he would come up and spend the day on Friday. After he told me no go on a trailer, I told him. Don't bother comin up.
Yeah I'm a little PISSED.
did you know it only takes about 45 minutes to build one?that's the beauty of working on a Harley - nowhere near as far to go to get to the other side! LOL

to build a harley?
also i guess depends on how many workers, I know toyota rolls off between 80 and 120 fork lifts per shift, usually 8 hours longI'd like to see that, maybe at the factory level using sub-assemblies
So do they put the motor/trans in as a unit now that they bolt together as such?I worked in York plant for 6 months about 2 years ago. That is the assembly line time from bare frame till it goes over to start up area.

don't know for sure, but I think you are right about motor trans. There were sub assemblies (many done at another facility nearby) but nothing like a whole rear clip. They did stuff like wire harnesses, lamp assemblies. A couple things I installed were 'jiffy ' stands and exhaust shields. The stand came assembled and the shields had the clamps in ( often backwards ) lolI know on the tour bikes the rear can pulled off, fender, brackets wiring, etc as a clip. Wondering if they are served up to the assembly line ready to go.
The bike is in each station for 80 seconds. So there is one coming off the line ...every 80 seconds. We did FLH, Softail and Trikes. All came down at random. Including CVOs and exportsalso i guess depends on how many workers, I know toyota rolls off between 80 and 120 fork lifts per shift, usually 8 hours long

Good news! We will joke that you have dense boobs tho!as embarrassing as it is to talk about my boobs LOL
Specailist today says it's NOT cancerous and he is glad my regular doc red flagged it, just to be sure.
It's called Fibroadenomas which is really dense mammary gland tissue.
They said I can remove it with a minor procedure or just leave it where it is and it will be fine. They said it's somewhat common is younger people like me who have never had a baby before. The specialists said he would recommend leaving it right where it is because it's only noticeable in a hard squeeze LOL.
I feel like I can run and jump around the yard now and not have to worry about planning my funeral like had been when I didn't know LOL.
