That was back before they closed the air force base. My company sent me there for "training" in the factory.... :finga:
I remember mowing the lawn one day and kept seeing "hot rod" airplanes flying overhead... F-15's, F-16's, and F-18's... :???:
Then found out later that there was an airshow going on.... I lived only 1 mile from the base. You could tell when the B-52's were taking off, they shook the ground.... #-o
They only had C-130's and B-52's at that base....
When my wife came into town, we would go to Jonesboro to eat at the Mexican restaurants. They didn't have any in Blytheville... :banghead:

Just got back, that place was the dirtiest junkyard I was ever in. Did go to Klingers on the way back, got all the parts for the tikey truck I needed and some headline bows for darts and three ram hood ornaments! And a cast finned rear end cover for the Pop!
