The case has to come off regardless, could be a number of things.
T-case failed and cracked trans is the worst scenario.
Trans output seal or t-case input seal.
Also check the vent on the case, make sure its not plugged.

Borrowed a spot weld cutter and a mini belt sander yesterday.
I guess i will be buying myself some more toold. They are awesome!!
 
Time to go find the shop floor,i know its still there as its holding up my work benches and hoist.
 
Well im glad i cleaned up that mess, rust flakes the size of dollar bills and spray foam. All held together with fiberglass. 2nd rocker almost done. One cab corner and will see what he wants to do next.

I would have never thought that the resistance would have been the same or even in the ballpark. I've been wrong once or twice before though LOL
 
Jim used 'brightener' on the old gray structural stuff and pressure washed this past weekend. Blended in nice with new using redwood finish.

Time for another coffee.
And then a couple hours of panel replacement.
Its slow.
 
Opted to just fitting panel,rough fit.
And grinding off the plug welds smooth.
Dont want any fire this late in the day. Almost time to turn off lights.

Crazy stuff and I haven't messed with it but I just got 336 hp@4000 and 531 lb/ft @2000. What a torque monster but do you want more horsepower?

For a street car? Nah, that torque will move than move that car. In the right car, that'd take down some big block cars
