Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Morning, very smoky here today, Stoner creek fire really blew up. It's now close to 8000 acres with zero containment and 7 miles from the town of Rico.
Inside with my coffee, can't stay outside long as your lungs start to hurt.
Andy and Emily, my son and his gal, are in Colorado on vaca. I asked him about the smoke. he said:" It was bad when we were on grand mesa, not too bad at where we're at now!" I have no idea where he is now though. :BangHead: :BangHead:

TRW Performance parts catalog found and paid for 5 days ago on E bay. I get a message today they are packing it and finally a tracking number. It comes from Nebraska (next door) We'll see how long it takes to get here. :BangHead:

Man that sounds like no fun. Bet the live stock is not happy either. Makes em skittish for sure.

They made big gains on that nearby fire in recent past 60% contained now but over 130K acres
Can I ship my California transplant neighbors back to ya? You could put them on a fire break crew? They complained the other day once again about firearms training near their home. Oddly enough I was literally training the officers that work at their own children’s school keeping their kids safe. No good deed goes unpunished. She is one mountainside over or maybe a mile as crow flies.

Freaking Volvo. Can't press the Pistons back into the rear calipers because it has three hole pistons in it. All the adapters I have are for two holes in the Piston to return it into the caliper. Now I have to wait for a tool later this afternoon.

Every disc brake set up i have done, I just use a steel plate that spans however many pistons there are and a C clamp. Go slow. Works great

Just putting this here. It's the Hawaiian Hog. It's a new offering from The Iowa Pork Producers. It was my lunch yesterday at the Fair. Grilled pork loin, brown sugar glazed Pineapple ring, creamy Cole Slaw, and sweet chili sauce.

Nope....Not in the case of this style caliper. These are used mostly on cars with electric E Brake. The pistons are threaded internally and must be wound back into the bore, Frank knows what I am talking about. Not your normal just press the piston back caliper...Done many before, but this Friggin Volvo has 3 notch pistons. My outdated tool has 4 different adaptors , but not 3 pin....

Great….. the medicine they put me on for my nerve damage has been just linked to have a 85 percent increase in getting dementia. I can’t win. :BangHead:

Getting ready to epoxy prime the roof on the 63. After mixing the epoxy with hardener there is a 30 min. induction time before it can be sprayed. Miller time.

Yup. I don't remember which one my ex-wife's car had the screw-in type pistons on the parking brake calipers, but I managed to THOROUGHLY phuque one of them up when I forced it. Lesson learned, that day.

I wouldn't concern myself with that Chris.
Dementia is just a simple state of mind. Nothing more Nothing less.
Some have been known to hold positions of power with that condition.
