I spent a few summers working SFV. Gotta say though, it was a cooler alternative than home at that time, Barstow

Working Ridgecrest to Barstow and the rest of the 395 (big fan of the 395) to Bishop in the summer was always cooler than far southeast to Coachella
SFV is a sh!thole for nearly everything (been here all my life) , right now it feels like an oven and considering its valley form. Id take clients outside of the SFV and say go to LAX, and its so much cooler dropping 99 to 77ish. its an oven right now and the dart's dash is fading like crazy

One good thing about building freeways in SFV was that on Wednesday nights after work I could hop into that new Yota 4x4 pickup and go cruise Van Nuys Blvd

man if only it was still like that. The hype is pretty much dead but mostly the lowrider community keeps it alive. SFV has a lot towards it, I love taking the dart to CPW's spring/fall flings. idk about this season hopefully pops can take it for me :steering:

I got a very brief e-mail from my HS homie "Going to Alaska for vacation ... Back in 2 weeks" Usually when he goes on vacation my e-mail runs over with pictures, this time not a single pic :wtf:
Bears are filling up for the winter this time of year.:poke:

Late 70s when I was down there, the ride height impaired crowd had San Fernando Road and very seldom if ever went to Van Nuys Blvd.

Morning!
Crazy wind here this morning. And nothing in our weather reports. Big bang and a flash outside, have a tree smacking power line and arcing. Wife is freaking out and im sitting here drinking coffee and typing out this post. Not much can be done in the dark with this wind.
Flash bangs heck yes we like them! Got a buddy even sells refillable version! Hah! When in doubt toss it in! Wait….. are we talking same thing?
Hehehe!

We had chicken bingo at our local tavern every weekend. Yep same thing but man that game was fast. Chickens are machines! They would chalk out the floor inside the tavern and turn the chickens loose. They were bar tenders chickens so she also sold eggs from behind the bar. I bet they are still doing it today?

Evening ladies and gentlemen. HO! and the rest of you. Had a good day I stopped in at the Bodyshop I worked at and spent an hour chatting with my old boss then came home and did a bit of work on the 63. Thinken tomorrow I might get around to mowing the lawn and might even take out the garbage.

Don't show them my build thread.

Long day again. Car is done, safetied and insured. Cleaned it a bit. So rip into the city and pick up the kid tomorrow.
