I have a bunch of 2k primer and a quart of paint to jam it. But I will need to get paint, and high solids clear for it.I know Dave, I could use cheaper material, but I only want to do it once.

Making sure I send out prayers again this morning for our friend, strength and healing will be top of my topic.Hey guys..
FYI
Wolfie back in ICU.
NOT doing well.
Wow, I need to get to our automotive paint stores a couple times a week and check there mixes that didn't sell, or mixed wrong, I will need some gold value coats to go under my color, sounds like I may possibly be doing a single stage paint, but!! Thats what I learned on before base coat stuff. A value coat is used on the car to get you closer to the finish color, then put the correct color over it, glad Victoria is small and a white top.Looked up the price for base color to paint a snow mobile hood and my cost using the body shop I work ins mixing bank is $325 bucks for a pint. So you did drain and prepare to go for a time away? The moon was sure showing out again here threw the night last night, and very quitealready done and looked over.

NAPA is the only place I have found around here so far.Looked up the price for base color to paint a snow mobile hood and my cost using the body shop I work ins mixing bank is $325 bucks for a pint. Stupid expensive.
Yep, most all expected painters know this, but I have stopped a couple people back 15 years ago and said hay !! Do you have any paint setting thats still good to get you from gray primer to red!! Yep, we both help the needy when we can, but there are some that don't except help, so I just grin and say ok, and turn the air pressure where they want it..lmao..lol..Smart thinking Mike I do the same.

We have a couple of automotive paint stores here in town. I don't know if the parts stores mix paint any more though. The fellow that owned my Polara was from Az. and had NAPA scan the paint so he had some to cover a quarter panel repair. It was such a good match, I didn't see the repair until the fellow told me about it. I had to look pretty close. The extra paint with the NAPA formula was included with a trunk full of parts.NAPA is the only place I have found around here so far.
Napa yes, but I am fortunate to have two other paint shops that compete. And one body shop that let's me feel at home at and look at there supply, hopefully I can mix my own and get a good deal with a family pack of BBQ, beans and fixings for his 5 person crew counting him and his wife ... she is a sexy tary..lolNAPA is the only place I have found around here so far.
I mixed paint at our napa store, I was a counterparts man.. can't spell! OK, but computer techs and young men took the front seat of the counter, I continued mixing paint and stocking shelves during my shoulder rehab. Seeing that sticker on the can brought me back .We have a couple of automotive paint stores here in town. I don't know if the parts stores mix paint any more. I wouldn't worry about it with the kids.morning all.
Question for @WV64Signet and @halifaxhops . My son has a veteran's day program where he's reading a poem he wrote. He wants me to wear my uniform to the program. I've never been one to wear my uniform off duty so not sure how I feel about doing it. Even though command says its fine and its allowed in AR 670-1
. Just not sure I want that attention
I have like 7 medals that they put in my Iperms that I have yet to receive the physical ones. including one from "Biden"I wouldn't worry about it with the kids.
Alternatively, I'll go in a suit with mini medals
I used these guys.I have like 7 medals that they put in my Iperms that I have yet to receive the physical ones. including one from "Biden"
yeah, they're bad about it. Unless you're an officer, then they make sure to pin stuff.I used these guys.
They (NG) aren't giving you minis if you get anything anyhow

nice.
I would not bother with the sword or uniform. You mentioned earlier not wanting to wear it. Very something that can go on a suit or tuxedo lapel. You'll use those.I do think after christmas, I'm going to buy the Pinks and greens and get my ribbons all sorted out. Along with an NCO sword. Just to have before retire, which will be some time next year.
That was kind of my thinking. for that event one day.I would not bother with the sword or uniform. You mentioned earlier not wanting to wear it. Very something that can go on a suit or tuxedo lapel. You'll use those.
I have my dress blues set up just to be buried in. Otherwise, they just hang in the back of the closet
