Stop in for a cup of coffee

I would not bother with the sword or uniform. You mentioned earlier not wanting to wear it. Very something that can go on a suit or tuxedo lapel. You'll use those.

I have my dress blues set up just to be buried in. Otherwise, they just hang in the back of the closet
I dont have a dress uniform anymore. I have my greens but I was 90 lbs lighter then, and my old dress blues are the same, but they got mice damaged in a storage unit years ago. so I need new ones

That was kind of my thinking. for that event one day.

Didn't know if it was taboo to wear military medals on a suit jacket.
Wearing medals on civilian clothes
  • When to wear: Medals can be worn on specific patriotic holidays (like Memorial Day and Veterans Day) and at formal military ceremonies or social functions.
  • What to wear: For formal civilian attire such as a tuxedo, miniature medals are appropriate. For other formal occasions, you can choose to wear either full-size or miniature medals, depending on your preference.
    • Placement: Medals should be worn on the left side of the chest, in the same approximate location as they would be on an Army uniform.
    • Arrangement: Medals should be arranged in order of precedence, with the most prestigious medal closest to the wearer's heart.
    • Appropriate attire: The Army considers suits, tuxedos, and clothing from veteran and patriotic organizations to be appropriate for wearing medals. You should not wear medals on casual clothing, like a polo shirt.

Well that didn't work out well. A member from Canada wanted the crank sensor I was selling. $42,95 to ship it and at least a $12 duty on his end. The shipping alone is 2X what I was asking for the part. :BangHead: :BangHead:

I understand that Mike. I was going to ship Frank an HEI dist. for an old 6 banger Chevy. China made but new. 65 bucks to ship it and that was what the Dist. cost. I'm still waiting for Frank to come over and get it.

The member here was understanding and he knew it might not happen. I said in the ad $20 shipped (unless you live on Mars)
If you live in Canada, it might as well be Mars. :poke:

this all could be solved if Canada just admitted to themselves that they want to be part of the USA......

Got to say though, Clear Lake and Lake Winnipeg were a couple of the most impressive sights of my youth :D
Don't forget Lake Louise in Banff.

I didnt think she cared so much, but thanked me for still being alive. She cried.gave me a hug. I still dont think i have that much of an impact on people. I thought i was an asshole to be honest.
Alas, there is still work to do, more blockage to deal with in a few weeks. Then start to get the back issues solved.
