Sister can't drive it so after she gets the funeral over I'll fly down and drive her back home to Washington.
correct t m m.....700r4 is a great od trans ..if..you let a guy who knows what he is doing..build it to your needs...the word junk..belongs to every car maker... automatic transmissions can be rebuilt by anyone who has FULL understanding of its workings............but when it comes to high hp..high traction loads.....the only ones ive seen hold together and perform weather on street drag, mud snow.....is those that a real tranny guy built for that set up.....if your a idiot you can distroy just about anything...i had a saying with my customers ..stole it from a ol hand that was twistin wrenches 40s to the 70s...if they asked... is this a piece of junk??? yes.. all of them are junk....if its not nickel and diming you its good junk!!..we all have opinions..mine are worth about...1.5 cents in the big piture...some unfortunately are based on feelings...i think they call that a women....fact is...its good therapy to stay busy......dirt and grime under the fingernails..a few cuts here and there..remindes us who we used to be....or wanted to be??? as for me and my house..we like overdrive automatic transmissions!!!!They had their issues like many transmissions do. There are upgraded parts to make them strong. The 200 od's are a small case size and fit easier in the transmission hump.
