Big Day tomorrow. Our financial advisor has been telling us for two years now that I could retire, but he’s never brought it down to the level where my third grade brain could see it. He says we’re making more on investments than I do on salary, but then he loses me with fancy-schmancy terms like withdrawal fees and early penalties……
Anyway, they just got some new software that we can play with that shows where we are at, what investments we can use (cash out) and when, our budgetary needs and expenses (etc, etc, world without end, Amen), and tomorrow afternoon we’re sitting down for
2 hours so that he and his partner can show me how we can make this happen, in a manner that I can understand.
I’m excited, apprehensive, and skeptical all at the same time, but we’ll see!
