The converter was a great move, it puts things in perspective. Stock stuff modifed intelligently, smokes overboard purchases with no thought. I'm glad , you are finding a balance.( you don't do this often, it's a learning curve)...

Thanks, friend. I don't get as much time to work on the car as I'd like. I'm working 109 miles from home and the drive and the work have me pretty worn out by the time I get home. I swapped in the 528 cam but couldn't finish because I had to order gaskets.
I am anxious to get it running again. I'll recheck the cranking compression numbers for a point of reference if nothing else. I recall I had 160 with the Lunati installed as per the cam card and 165 with the cam advanced 4 degrees. I hope the 528 doesnt push me past 175.
