Strange Antennas (rear) 65 barracuda

Hey Everyone,

Have you ever seen antennas like these two on the back of a 64-66 barracuda? Mine is a 65. A regular customer at the Auto Parts store I used to work at said they were an option on these cars. Just trying to look into it a little more. They aren't functional, just decoration. What do you all think?

Kit Carlson, wanna chime in? This is an uber simple AM modulator with no antenna intercept needed, just be next to AM radio @ 1000KHz. The crystal is $1.95, the transformer is $3.60, make note of crystal voltage tolerance.

My '65 Ply Valiant Signet Convertible has dual rear radio antennas with correct antenna cabling. I am not saying it was factory or dealer installed, though.
