I have a 69 Dart Convertible, that has rusted torsion bar mounts and floor pans. These have been repaired in the past, but not very well and destroyed any good metal remaining which precludes me from using the commercially available repair parts. I bought a 73 Dart Sport and plan on using the sub-structure from it to repair the convertible. From a cosmetic stand point does anyone know if these parts are exact matches? I would prefer everything to look like it is original and may end up finding a 69 to cut parts from and just sell the 73.

Thoughts???

There is a company by the nams of Safe-T-Cap that has repair parts for Mopars in need of help. Stuff like torsion bar mounts, crossmember repair parts, torque boxes and the like. I don't know if that's what was used before. Give them a try. toolmanmike

Unfortunately I don't think I have enough good base metal to be able to use those. I would rather just replace the parts with good originals.
